As of March 22, babies, children, parents and caregivers are losing an invaluable resource (and it was free!) housed in the Huntington Hills Community Centre. This closure impacts many other Calgary and Alberta community services, who referred clients to these “gold standard” programs.
BHCA sends our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to each and every one of the staff, who have helped North Central families for over twenty years.
Note: Sports/recreation and childcare programs at Huntington Hills are continuing.

Below is the official closure announcement.
“It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the permanent closure of both the Family Connections Parent Link Centre and the North Central Family Support Program. Despite our best efforts to acquire funding under the new Family Resource Networks structure, our bid was unsuccessful. Programs for our families will continue to take place until March 21, 2020, and the centre will be closed to the public effective from March 22 – March 31, 2020 as we shut down. We want to thank everyone again for their love and support.”
